West Seattle Counseling Department offers each student an individualized and comprehensive high school and beyond plan including course selection, academic achievement, progress toward meeting graduation requirements, personal and social competencies, and post-secondary and career options and planning.

Westside’s counselors are always looking forward to meeting with families to provide support and offer community resources. Three full-time counselors serve all students at West Seattle High School. Student assignment with counselor is determined by the first letter of his/her last name.

Student Records and Transcript Requests

Student Record Request: If you are a school district requesting student records, please complete this form that is required by OSPI and email your request to Joanna Sibounheuang at josibounheua@seattleschools.org  

Transcript Request

Current students: Current students may request an official transcript sent to colleges through Naviance. Students log into Naviance through the Seattle Public Schools’ Clever the student portal (not the Source). The student portal and Naviance can be accessed both at school and from home.

If you are unable to access Naviance, or for an unofficial (PDF) copy, please email registrar Joanna Sibounheuang at josibounheua@seattleschools.org

If a physical copy of your official transcript is required, please provide an envelope with postage and your return address to Room 236. Please note that staff cannot mail the transcript on your behalf.

Former students: If it has been more than 2-years since you’ve graduated or withdrew from WSHS, please request transcripts, diplomas, or other records here: Online Student Records Request System.
