West Seattle Counseling Department offers each student an individualized and comprehensive high school and beyond plan including course selection, academic achievement, progress toward meeting graduation requirements, personal and social competencies, and post-secondary and career options and planning.
West Seattle’s counselors are always looking forward to meeting with families to provide support and offer community resources. Three full-time counselors serve all students at West Seattle High School. Student assignment with counselor is determined by the first letter of his/her last name.
