Summer Camps & Programs
STEM Bridge Program– Dates: June 29th-July 15th. Highline is excited to continue our summer STEM Bridge program, a free program for students interested in exploring STEM careers and getting extra support in transitioning to college. The program is designed to reach students who may be hesitant about STEM or may not have received much support for pursuing a STEM career. Our goal is to provide a sense of community to students, support them in gaining STEM success skills through hands-on activities and get them excited about STEM through career connections. The bridge program is based on our STEM 101 curriculum and so students who successfully complete it will also get college credit. Deadline to apply is April 10th.
Seattle Children’s Nurse Camp– During this five-day camp, students will gain insight into the world of pediatric nursing by participating in clinical observation sessions. In these sessions, students will shadow nurses in a clinical environment and observe as they provide patient care and interact with patients and families. Camp dates: July 13 – July 17, 2026. Seattle Children’s Mental & Behavioral Health Camp– During this five-day camp, students will explore careers within the mental & behavioral health field. By participating in hands-on skills and observing the day-to-day workflow of professionals, students will gain insight into various roles within pediatric mental health. Seattle Children’s Scrubs & Scopes Camp– During this five-day camp, students will explore various allied health careers by job shadowing medical assistants, pharmacists, laboratory scientists and technicians/technologists in Pharmacy, Radiology, Surgery, Sterile Processing and Anesthesia in a clinical environment, observing as they provide patient care. Global Citizen Summer Language Program– Do you know a current 8-12 grade student that would like to learn Arabic or Korean this summer? Dates: July 6-July 31 (Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm). Location: Summit Sierra School, Seattle. Cost: $25 (Includes 20 days of classes, workshops, field trips, and daily catered lunch!) Sign up before May 31st to lock in your spot!
Internships
Washington Neurodiversity Project– a private foundation based in Seattle, is looking for autistic and ADD/ADHD youth aged 18 to 21 who are interested in a supported 4-week paid internship at South Seattle College library in West Seattle. It is not too late for your students to apply for our Pre-College Programs. As a reminder our priority application deadline is (for non arts programs) April 25, 2026. The application will remain open until all spots are full. Students can start their free application today.
