The 2nd Annual West Seattle High School
Summer Basketball Camp
Boys and girls 3rd grade - 9th grade
Summer hoop camp, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
July 7, 8, 9, 10
Our camp is a four day basketball journey! We welcome all skill levels into our great facility to improve self confidence, individual skills, and team work!
Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt!
Please bring a sack lunch, and your hoop game!

Requirements to receive the Sisters of Samoa Academic Scholarship:
- Applicant must have applied to or be enrolled to attend a college or university; and provide proof of acceptance or enrollment.
- Applicant must submit an official High School Transcript reflecting academic performance.
- Applicant must submit (3) Letters of Recommendation reflecting their academic achievement and community service.
Applications must be returned by May 31, 2014.

Below are the dates and times that West Seattle staff will be meeting with incoming students to let them know about the programs at West Seattle High School and help them select classes for next year.

If your student does not attend one of the above schools, we will have an information session/course selection evening on
Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the West Seattle library.

If your student is NOT planning on attending West Seattle High School, please email Ms. Nyman to let her know where they will be attending so that we may remove your student from our enrollment.
In August you will receive information about our Freshman Family Night, held the last week of August.

Criteria to qualify is listed on the cover sheet of our application. The scholarships are "tuition only" scholarships with the exception of the Galbreath. If your student has a scholarship such as "College Bound" and their tuition expenses are covered they do not qualify for our scholarships.

- Provide a safe, accessible and pleasant way for pedestrians from California Ave. SW to arrive at and depart from the school building.
- Develop a visually recognizable and beautiful pedestrian route to WSHS primary entrance.
The "West Seattle High School Steps at Stevens Committee" (SSC) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for planning a safe and visually recognizable pedestrian route to the primary west entrance to West Seattle High School located at 3000 California Avenue SW, adjacent to SW Stevens Street. This project is funded by a grant from the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods Matching Fund providing approximately $20,000 for design and consultant fees. Please refer to the Request for Qualifications submittal requirements (click here).
