    Welcome back, Wildcats!  Schedules will appear on Schoology at 7 am on the first day of school, Friday September 4th.  If you need a schedule change, please complete this form online: WSHS Schedule Change Request Form

    Running Start Information

    If you're interested in enrolling in Running Start, please see this PowerPoint presentation from South Seattle College. Please review and connect with your student’s counselor if you have questions about the Running Start program and whether or not it would be a good fit for you or your student.


    Three full-time counselors serve all students at West Seattle High School. Student assignment with counselor is determined by the first letter of his/her last name.

    West Seattle Counseling Department offers each student an individualized and comprehensive high school and beyond plan including course selection, academic achievement, progress toward meeting graduation requirements, personal and social competencies, and post-secondary and career options and planning.

    Westside's counselors are always looking forward to meeting with families to provide support and offer community resources.
